Rickmansworth Archery Club is proud to deliver expert tuition to those new to archery
from the club’s Archery GB qualified instructors.
All those new to archery need to complete a ‘beginners’ course to receive an Archery GB qualified Beginners Certificate, which enables them to join any Archery GB affiliated club – including, of course, Rickmansworth Archery Club. The course is open to anyone aged 10 or older.
We supply all the equipment needed for the course. All you need to do is arrive wearing clothing suitable for archery (explained in the joining notes).
If, upon completion of the course you are ‘hooked’ on archery (we think you will be) and wish to join the Club as a Member, instructors will give you advice on how to set about the purchase your own archery equipment.
Principally for junior joiners, the club has a few starter kits available for hire. These kits may be hired for up to 4 weeks and enable beginners to practice their skills and learn what equipment suits them best.
